What a great start to July with arrival of Linda, Cassie and Yang, three friends travelling from China on a one month placement on Maroshi Island in Shanviyani.  Teaching & Sports is on the agenda for these three very excited and cheerful volunteers.  The community of Maroshi were very happy to welcome them and all three are settling in nicely and enjoying their placement.

We were very excited to welcome our first (hopefully of many) University groups from Australia.  We are pleased to have teamed up with UTS BUiLD and welcome 7 students from Sydney.

Angela, Bonnie, Ellen, Martin, Prue, Panpan and Sophia all arrived very enthusiastic and ready for their exciting special 3 week program.  Teaching, Sports, Community Development and Environmental programs are all part of their program.  They have some great fun activities arranged also, including an opportunity to spend a full day on one of the newest luxury resorts in the Maldives, Viceroy Maldives.
